• Helpful Hints When Studying For An Assessment

-As you are looking through each section you may want to follow along with your homework/practice problems assignments. Seeing problems that you have already worked out may help jog your memory.

-Try to re-do a few problems from each section’s homework. If you struggle with the problems, look back at the examples in your notes.

-If you still need or want more practice, please search for specific topics online.

-Don’t be afraid or ashamed to study with someone else. Quiz each other. Ask your partner for specific steps on how to solve a problem if you forget. Have one partner complete a problem while the other checks his or her work. Work together to correct the answer if necessary. Switch rolls for the next problem.

-Don’t be afraid to ask specific questions on review days.

-Work hard and study some each day! Don’t try to cram the night before. You won’t remember everything.

    -Get plenty of rest.

-Eat a good breakfast on assessment day(s). Energy drinks don’t count.

    -You CAN do this!

    :)
