Professionally speaking, I am excited about beginning my 25th year at Springfield Local Schools. I have a Bachelor's degree in Education & a Master's degree in Classroom Counseling Education. I have a Moderate/Intensive Intervention Specialist Teaching License, K-12. I am one of the mentors for new teachers in the district. This year I am returning to the High School/Junior High, where I began my Springfield career in 1997.
Personally speaking, I reside in West Akron. I have four dogs & a cat, all of which are rescues....I frequently foster dogs for an organization in Medina. I enjoy traveling & dining out! Some of my favorite locations to visit are Palm Springs, California, Columbus, Ohio, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania & Tampa, Florida. I also enjoy being a volunteer for the Autism Society of Greater Akron, & The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railway.
