• Spotlight on Springfield
  • The SHS Bridge Building Team participated in the Summit County Engineer's Miniature Bridge Building competition and met Jim Tressel, while Computer Applications classes entered the 2013 Kids Safe Online poster contest. CBI students met their first grader pen pals. 
     
    The Spring Hill Robotics Club is growing. 
     
    Students took part in the Running Club's annual Springfield Bog Metro Park Bog Race. The Schrop School Newspaper Club is working on publishing their fourth issue this year.
     
    Roosevelt students had reward pizza parties, typed their first essays on the computers, read with Tank the reading dog, and enjoyed a holiday performance by the Spartanaires. 
     
    Young School's generous students have raised money for Springfield Cares, Children's Hospital, and the Mitochondrial Disease Foundation. They had a Fairy Tale Parade to conclude their unit on fairy tales, and the Parent Group hosted a holiday movie night.
