Spring Hill Elementary School

My name is Mrs. Ganzer and I am beyond grateful to be leading Spring Hill Elementary School and serving as your principal. I am honored to share that this is my 31st year in the Springfield Local Schools. Springfield is very special to me because it is where I, myself, attended school from kindergarten through 12th grade. I was also lucky enough to start my teaching career here as a student teacher and have taught kindergarten & 1st grade. This is my 22nd year in building administration. 

My husband and I have two children.  Zachary, who is 25 years old, is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and is newly married to his wife, Taylor, who is an intervention specialist in Tallmadge.  My daughter, Paige, is 22 years old. She recently graduated from The University of Akron and is beginning her first year of teaching in Coventry as a 1st grade teacher. She is engaged to be married in May.  I also have an adorable Aussie Doodle named Lola.  

When I am not at work, I spend my time with my family and friends, reading, shopping, and traveling. 

I have a Bachelor of Science in Education from The University of Akron and a Master of Education in Administration from Ashland University.

I want to thank all of our families for trusting us with their children and allowing us to be a part of their educational journey. We, at Spring Hill, will do our very best to help your child grow academically, socially, and mentally, in order to find their own leadership potential and use it to do great things!
