ACT & SAT
The ACT and the SAT are standardized tests that many colleges use to help them make decisions on admission. Other measurements include high school grades, class rank, and extracurricular activities. In addition to using the scores for admission, colleges may use the scores for scholarship awards, course placement, and athletic eligibility.
It is recommended that you begin taking your college admission test in the spring of your junior year. This will give you at least two additional testing dates in case you would like to retest before your college application is processed.
The websites below are the official websites for the ACT and the SAT. Both sites allow you to register online and give you information on their tests, test questions, and test preparation.
