Army - ROTC Scholarships
Deadline: Open June between Junior and Senior in HS and closes in January of HS Senior YearCriteria/Comments: 1,000 4 year scholarships and 2,000 3 year scholarships given each year; Awarded in Oct, Jan, and Mar of HS Senior Year- Min GPA of 2.5 (above 3.4 to be competitive for National Scholarship)
- 19 on the ACT or 1000 on the SAT (24 ACT or above to be competitive for the National Scholarship)
- By end of semester that scholarship is offered:
- Must pass the Army Physical Fitness Test
- Must pass an Army Physical
- Must meet height and weight requirements
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA in College as a full time student

- Be a U.S. Citizen
- Be 17 years old by Sept. 1 of the first year of college
- Not older than 23 years old by Dec. 31 of the year you start college
- Complete high school
- Take the ACT or SAT test prior to deadline and receive at least:
- ACT = combined Math and English score of 47
- Min of 21 Math; Min of 22 English
- SAT = combined Math & Verbal/Critical Reading of 1200
- Min of 540 Math; Min of 550 Verbal/Critical Reading
- ACT = combined Math and English score of 47

Deadline: OngoingCriteria/Comments: 100% TuitionThe Ohio National Guard Scholarship Program (ONGSP) is a state-funded scholarship program for individuals who enlist, extend or reenlist into the Ohio National Guard. This educational program is only offered by the Ohio National Guard. No other branch of service offers this program. This program exists by Ohio Revised Code 5919.34 and is not subject to changing federal budgets. The ONGSP can pay up to 100% of the total instruction and general fee charges of STATE-assisted colleges and universities in pursuit of an undergraduate degree. Benefits for approved private or proprietary degree-granting institutions of higher education are limited to the average tuition and general fee charges of the state-assisted colleges and universities for 12 credit hours. Participants must not have previously received a baccalaureate degree. Each participant with a six-year enlistment is eligible for a lifetime maximum of 12 full-time quarters or 8 full-time semesters. Members who are Prior Service participants with a at least 3 years of prior service and with a 3-year enlistment with the Ohio National Guard or members who are Non-Prior Service participants with a 3-year enlistment with the ONG are eligible. Participants MUST remain enrolled for a minimum of three credit hours per term in a degree-granting program. Members are eligible for benefits upon enlistment. Eligible members must apply for the scholarship before each term or semester using the Ohio National Guard Scholarship Program website before the following deadlines: Spring Quarter - February 1 Summer Term - April 1 Fall Term - July 1 Winter Quarter/Spring Semester - November 1.For more information, click here.
